Private
With EnjoyMyMedia, you are in complete control of your personal media. Your media is only accessible from within a private Channel (not a public Web site) and only authorized Subscribers of a Channel—your specific friends and family—can access a channel's media. Furthermore, a subscription to your Channel is by your invitation only (so if a Subscriber forwards their invitation to someone else, the recipient will not be able to subscribe). Safe Forwarding
With Safe Forwarding you can choose to permit a channel’s subscribers to forward its media to their own friends and family. Upon forwarding, the media is automatically placed into a new channel thereby ensuring EnjoyMyMedia’s privacy and tracking controls will still apply. Children's Online Privacy Protections Act compliance
EnjoyMyMedia is committed to making media sharing simple while ensuring privacy. As parents ourselves, given today's online world, there's nothing more important than children's privacy. That is why are require all new users to indicate their age when signing up. If they are under 13, we voluntarily follow the U.S. law that protects the privacy of children (see the COPPA faq ). We do this even though the law does not apply to us (since EnjoyMyMedia is 'not directed to children') and the risk of negative disclosure is really pretty small (since EnjoyMyMedia Channels are private and only go to trusted friends & family, not strangers). Just like a TV network programmer who decides which show goes on 1st, 2nd & 3rd, you can decide the order of the media in your Channels. Technical
Netcasting computer is completely secure
The very design of EnjoyMyMedia ensures that only the contents of the folders you choose to Netcast are available to your subscribers, and no other folders or files are accessible. Subscribers only have access to a standard RSS-feed, which is simply an XML file. They do not have any programmatic access to a Netcaster’s computer. RSS is by design secure: when you subscribe to a NY Times or BBC feed you have no way to “see” other files on the NY Times or BBC computers. Back to list
Multiple Computers & Networked Folders
If you have more than one computer (multiple computers at home, work and home PC's, etc), you can Privately Netcast your media regardless of which machine the media happens to be stored on ... simply installing separate Transmitters on each. Alternatively, if the computers are networked, a single Transmitter running on one PC can Netcast folders located on the other PC. Back to list

Rather than sharing media individually, EnjoyMyMedia allows you to create Channels that contain your media organized by interest, , audience or any other way you'd like. There is no limit on the total amount of personal media you can Netcast. If all the media in all your Channels sum up to 1GB, 10GB, 20GB or even 100GB, that's alright with us. (Due to technical constraints, however, no single file can be larger than 4GB or about 4 hours of video.) Back to list
